One of the first books I became interested in as a kid was “Birds of North America” featuring the fantastic illustrations of Author Singer. Later in life when I developed birding habbits, I learned about the life of Jon James Audubon and became familiar with his body of work. I can say I owe much of my inspiration to watch and paint birds to these two great artists.
