I saw this yellowthroated warbler in East Palatka, FL while birding with my mom. He was eating bugs that were attracted to a citrus tree with a rotten fruit. I took several blurry photos, including the model of this painting where he is dashing down a partially decayed palmetto frond in rotation with other birds feeding at the tree. This was the first one I had ever seen, so I recorded it as #94 in my birding log on 12/9/2017.
