This original beach painting is a view looking north towards the pier on St. Augustine Beach,  Florida.  A colorful sunset is slipping away as a line of pelicans is flying up the coastline.  Some orange coquina shells are exposed from the receding tide.  Sandy footprints imply walking on the beach towards the silhouette of the pier off in the distance.
